Review: Guitar Hero II (Xbox 360), or how to unlock Achievements for a game you already played the crap out of on your PS2

Finally, GH II is out on 360. Thank the rock gods. I had a great time cobbling together a feature spread on GH II last year for AP (see attached pic), which resulted in having a character in the game named after me, among other things.

Review for the just released 360 version here. Now go, become one with your toy guitar controllers.

Review: The Elder Scrolls IV: The Shivering Isles

Oblivion, in all of it's time-sucking glory, was a deep, deep game. As deep as it was, Shivering Isles tries to be wide, with two new worlds and storylines on one thoroughly disturbing new isle. But is this Shivering place somewhere you should sink in another 20 or so hours after investing 100+ already? Hit the jump to find out.

Preview: Warhawk

Salt Lake City is known for many things, and being a bastion for gaming is one of them. Yes, Chair just took up residence here, and it's always great to come back and visit Incognito again, it's been awhile.

Our subject? Warhawk, the recently announced multiplayer only aerial-shooter coming to PS3 later this year.

Impressions hosted at Gamesradar here. The trip was really fun; hung mostly with Greg from HG and Sam from 1Up; we played the game from within Hill Aerospace Museum, which was located amongst a ton of snow and planes high on a Salt Lakian mountain. Nestled between rockets and old Tom Cruisey fighter jets was a ha-uge table loaded with LCD displays and PS3's. It was grand. Jeff and the IGN crew put together a video of the trip, which can be viewed here.

Review: Crackdown, or how I can't look at a downtown skyline without scanning for Agility Orbs anymore

Who knew that Crackdown would be so much fun?Sure, it took its licks for being the surrogate to the Halo 3 multi-player beta, but it actually turned out to be one of the more unique, and certainly fun games to come along in some time. Gosh, I'm already gushing and this isn't even the review.
